Why did you join Speech and Debate?
I joined Speech and Debate because I thought it sounded interesting. I really didn't know much about it when I decided to join, but I am incredibly glad I did!!
What is your favorite Speech and Debate memory?
There are so many, it is hard to choose just one! The one that sticks out the most is probably riding the child's train through the Spokane mall with Baylee. We had fun, it was great!
What is the hardest part of Speech and Debate?
Definitely getting up in the morning at tournaments. I have never been a morning person, and it doesn't help that I was probably competing for 7 hours the day before (in heels) and hadn't eaten healthy food or drank enough water.
What do you do for fun?
Talk... That's not all though! I enjoy drawing, playing violin and piano, reading, playing tennis, hanging out with my friends, and singing loudly along with my music.
What other extracurricular activities are you a part of?
I am a violinist with the Columbia Basin College Orchestra and I play tennis at Chiawana. Other than that speech and my job take up most of my time.
